The course aims to build on the foundation of the L4 diploma and to develop competent technician quantity surveyors. It is designed to provide an education that will further develop knowledge and understanding of relevant theories and principles together with technical skills and capabilities associated with the practice of the discipline.
This course is designed as a foundation for learners who have an interested in pursuing a career in quantity surveying or construction. Normally, learners will be aged 18 and above.
Learners who successfully complete this course may be eligible to progress to level 6 studies on other similar courses at colleges and universities. However, it should be noted that transfer of credit on application to other qualifications is determined by the receiving institution/awarding organisation.
